Om Malik has an article about what he is calling “Internet Anxiety Disorder.” Basically its the effect that happens when one becomes addicted to the internet. The continuous desire to stay on top of things and remain connected while being overloaded with far too much information. He thinks its a problem, I think it will lead to better ways to communicate information, but that’s just me.
AMD has announced that they will be launching their first dual-core chips on April 21. Dual-core chips combine two chips on a piece of silicon allowing a computer to do two different tasks at once without slow down.
Intel is also planning on releasing dual-core chips, but not until May.
Jeremy Jaynes, 30, has become the first spammer in the US to get a jail sentence for sending out spam. During his spamming time he sent around 10 million spam emails a day and made as much as $750,000 a month. He has been sentenced to 9 years in jail.
