Om Malik has an article about what he is calling “Internet Anxiety Disorder.” Basically its the effect that happens when one becomes addicted to the internet. The continuous desire to stay on top of things and remain connected while being overloaded with far too much information. He thinks its a problem, I think it will lead to better ways to communicate information, but that’s just me.

I have a friend from Newfoundland who used to get criticized when he was living in Vancouver for being in the bars every night. Then he spent a year in Dublin — he no longer thinks he has a drinking problem!
